During the regular school year imagePathways offers themed art camps for children (ages 6-12 years old*.) Open-Ended art opportunities are provided to encourage active creative imagination using a large array of materials for building 3D art pieces.

Art making and use of creative imagination is a natural part of being a child. The importance of providing children with “hands-on” creative outlets cannot be understated. Creative expression gives children the freedom to explore many different aspects of life. As children create, their ability to communicate with and about their world expands greatly. They are free to try new ideas, explore, experiment, and enjoy. Creating art nurtures critical thinking skills as problem-solving abilities increase. Expressing artistically helps develop intuition, enhances fine motor skills, stimulates the right brain, and allows the child the chance venture outside the box. Self-esteem is bolstered as a child marvels with amazement at his or her creations.
